MEET YOUR STAFF
Lead Pastors
Pastors Marion & Jamie Pope
Senior Pastors
Pastors Marion and Jamie Pope were married on April 18th, 1979. They have two daughters, Julie Bolin and Jessica May, both of whom serve in ministry. The Popes founded The Journey on
April 18th, 1988 and are still leading the congregation today! Marion has been on missions trips to Russia, Kenya and Mexico and keeps missions and service to community as a top priority in this church.
The Popes lead with grace and love and keep Jesus as the main foundation for all we do here at The Journey. When they set out to establish the church in this community they had a vision for creating a Bible Training Center, a House of Prayer, and a standard to really care about the family dynamic. To this day, Pastors Marion and Jamie Pope have grown a ministry that does all of these things and more. They are lead by the Holy Spirit and when God says move, they move! They are just as excited today about the vision God gave them all those years ago- and it shows!
The Pastors are accessible and eager to get to know you. It brings them joy to serve this congregation - You Included!
